Greetings from Dance Station! We have posted a new virtual Student Showcase on YouTube and the Dance Station website, featuring students and teachers performing a variety of ballroom and Latin routines. As always, our students — of all ages and proficiencies — are grateful to those of you who tune in to watch. We thank you for the opportunity to share our love of dance.
Performances include beautiful waltzes, a fun swing featuring students from our kids’ dance class, and an act right out of the circus.
Students who participated in this showcase are Cherie Hughes, Nancy Leverenz, Finn Maurice, Abby Miller, Peter Pesic, Kathy Roybal, Dave Sitrin, Marie Stoffer, and Ssu Weng. They danced with teachers Lawrence Black and Mary Miller. See more photos from their performances below.
Our next showcase will be Sunday, August 7. If the stars align, we’ll host it in person at Dance Station.

Meanwhile, we are excited to add more group classes to the Dance Station calendar!
Our Intro to Social Dance Class with Mary,at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, is a great way to get started on your dance journey, Every week, we’ll introduce the basics of the more popular social dances, focusing on basic patterns and partnering skills.
Also look for our one-time Advanced Salsa Workshops. The first ones have been a big hit!
We also have a Kids’ Class with Mary and Swing classes with Mike and Elli on Sunday; Argentine tango with Michael Walker on Monday; Balboa with Aaron and Yulia on Wednesday; and West Coast Swing with Cheryl and Nick on Friday. We’ll soon be announcing a new beginning salsa class with Dave.
