December is the most wonderful time of the year at Dance Station. We’re hosting several events to put you in the festive spirit, from this Thursday’s Variety Dance to Sunday’s Holiday Student Showcase to our Holiday Ball on Saturday, Dec. 16. Read on for the details. We ho-ho-hope to see you on the dance floor!
Variety Dance and Intro Class is Thursday
Our monthly variety dance is this Thursday, Dec. 7, at 7:30 p.m. We mix it up, so you’ll always find something fun to dance to.
The dance starts right after our weekly Intro to Social Dance class at 6:45 p.m. These weekly, drop-in Intro Classes are made with beginners in mind. This week’s class is salsa … if you’ve been wanting to start, this is your chance. It’s also a great way to warm up before the dance.
Admission to the Variety Dance is $10.
Admission to the Intro Class is $15 and includes admission to the Variety Dance.
Our Holiday Student Showcase is this Sunday
Our holiday showcase is 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10.
Dance Station students and teachers have been working for weeks on their showcase routines, which range from the silly to the sublime and cover a number of dance styles.
We’ll have social dancing and refreshments for the audience. Come enjoy the performances and support your dancing friends!
Admission is $10.
Celebrate 2023 at the Holiday Ball!
Finally, to keep the party going, we’re hosting our special Holiday Ball starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 16.
There will be social dancing, performances, light refreshments, and a visit by some hairy old dude from the North Pole.
Admission is $15. Tickets can be purchased in advance.
