To our Dance Station Family and Friends

Dear Dance Station Family and Friends,

I hope this note finds you well and safe. I want to thank everyone for their offers of support and encouragement, it is exactly what is needed for all of us at this trying time. I am very grateful to be part of this wonderful community of dancers and citizens who have taken on doing their part.

All of your Dance Station teachers are managing, while they are working toward the future of dancing in Santa Fe. We have been thinking of new class ideas as well as ways we can safely open and interact when the time comes. Meanwhile, be sure to take advantage of Jazzercise on demand, and contact your teachers as many are offering online lessons and videos. These mediums will likely be an important bridge back to our more traditional classes. We are fortunate that the internet has really helped us to keep in touch with students and to keep the joy of dancing in all our lives. I have also been busily making face masks so we will be well supplied when we reopen!

As we find ourselves in a situation that we neither imagined or prepared for, know that we are doing our best to follow sound advice and will continue to do so when we do reopen. We ask for your patience as we begin to shape what the future looks like for the Dance Station. There will undoubtedly be many changes as we create a space for our dancing that is safe and healthy for our teachers and students. Please take care of yourselves and your neighbors. I can’t wait to see you all again on the dance floor, until then please stay home and safe and boogie a little every day!
