We are launching a new dance class for beginning dancers. It’s perfect for anyone who is just getting started in dancing, or who knows someone who is.

We’ve tailored our new class, called Intro to Social Dance, for beginners with little or no experience. Each class will introduce the basic skills of partnering (leading or following), timing, and basic movement. We will focus on a different popular dance every week, including salsa, Country-Western, swing, and tango.

Class is 6:45 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5, and repeats every Thursday. Mary Miller is the teacher.

The class focuses on repetitive practice, making it ideal for those just getting started in the world of dance. This is a drop-in class, so you don’t need to commit to a series of classes — simply show up at class time. You can sign up and pay online by clicking the button below, or pay when you come to class. Cost is $15 per person per class.

Interested in other dance classes? Check out our calendar and our dance class page.

Note that we currently require all teachers and students to wear face masks while in the studio.
