This is a widely popular dance that puts a lot of emphasis on the conversation between the partners. While the leader is responsible for selecting the dance patterns, both partners are encouraged to add their own style and interpretation of music to the dance partnership creating more of a conversation between the partners. This freedom of expression means that no two dances are the same and therefore every dance is a new dance. In this class you will learn the foundations of West Coast Swing and the basic structure and connection that make the freedom of expression possible.
