Santa Fe Tango “Noche de Bohemia” and Swango Class with Mike Garcia

Santa Fe Tango’s “Noche de Bohemia” will feature a special twist on Saturday, July 20– a Swango class with Mike Garcia. Class is at 7:30 pm Milonga 8:30 to Midnight. Class is only $5, class and Milonga $10. Santa Fe Tango Members $7. Event held at Dance Station.

Swango stands for Swing (or Lindy Hop), West Coast Swing, Tango, and Blues and is commonly known as a fusion dance. Swango combines the creativity of West Coast Swing with the steamy sensuality of Tango. You will be surprised at how much fun this combination of dance styles can be and how often you can use what you’ll learn. For the milonga, Mike will feature  a mix of blues, swing, alternative, nuevo, and traditional tango music – during most of which you can use your newly found talent.
