Have you always wanted to take dance lessons but weren’t sure how to start? Get going with an introductory lesson at the Dance Station.
This is a private lesson, for singles or couples, that will introduce you to the dance styles you are interested in (and if you don’t know your quickstep from your two-step, don’t worry. Your teacher can go over the many different types of dancing to find one you would like to learn.)
After working with you, your teacher will recommend the best way for you to proceed, either with private lessons, group classes, or a combination.
Even if you have been dancing for years, the introductory lesson is a good way to start at Dance Station because it allows your instructor to form an accurate impression of your skills.
An introductory lesson costs only $30 and can launch you on a lifetime path of dancing. Call (505) 989-9788 to schedule your introductory lesson.
An alternative for beginners is our Drop in Introduction to Social Dance, a group class at 8:15 p.m. every Tuesday. This class will introduce you to a different social dance each week such as Swing, Salsa. Tango and Country-Western. Learn the fundamentals in a fun group setting. Introduction to Social Dance is open to everyone and costs only $10.
