Dear Poppy,
I am so embarrassed of my dancing ability. I just started partner dancing a few months ago. I feel so uncoordinated sometimes that I worry about what other people are saying about my dancing. Do the other dancers judge me by my dancing ability? How can I feel more comfortable and more confident with my dancing?
Worried What They Think
Dear Worried,
Forget about your self-image, Sweetie, and just dance! You are waisting too much energy worrying about what others are thinking about you. Guess what? It’s not all about you. Most dancers are thinking about having fun and who they will dance with next. We all had to begin some time. Get over your self and just DANCE! No one is judging you except You!
