Dear Poppy,
I want to learn to Salsa dance. When I go out I hear Salsa bands and Salsa music playing and the music makes my body want to get up and move. I really enjoy the sounds and rhythms. I am just a little afraid of dancing with a partner and connecting with her and the music. Have you got any tips for me?
Salsa Fever
Dear Salsa Fever,
You have already connected with her and you haven’t even met, Sweetie. She is just as excited as you are about the music. It is her first connection with the dance and it is the first connection that we have in partner dancing. Music is what bonds partner dancing. The beat and the feeling of the music helps you stay connected moving you together with the sounds and rhythm as one and at one time.
