Dear Poppy,
I am allergic to some perfumes. It is very hard for me when I go out dancing. Sometimes I have to leave because my eyes begin burning and watering and my head starts hurting. I just wish that I could go out dancing and not have to feel like I have to wear an oxygen mask. Don’t take me wrong; I love the smell of perfume, but not when it is so strong.
Cloud of Tears
Dear Cloud of Tears,
It’s so true, Sugar. We are no longer living in the ‘80s. Big hair, big cars, and big clouds of perfume are OUT! Don’t take a bath in your perfume or cologne before going out dancing. More is definitely LESS when it comes to wearing heavy smelling products when you are going to be in a closed area with many people. Put a little thought before you put a lot.
Dear Poppy,
When I finish dancing at the end of the night I can still smell some of the people that I danced with. Sometimes all the mixtures of heavy perfume smells on the dance floor makes me nauseous. Please ask the ladies to go easy on the perfume.
Can’t Hold My Breath
Dear Can’t Hold My Breath,
Just for you, Sugar. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IF YOU HAVE TO WEAR HEAVY FRAGRANCES WHEN DANCING, USE VERY LITTLE! Some people are allergic to these smells and for those of us who are not allergic these heavy smells can be hard to stomach.
