It’s Ken Duerre’s last Dance Station performance—for awhile, at least, and it takes place during the Practice Party this Thursday, July 9. Come and help us wish a fond farewell to this longtime student and performance favorite.
Ken and his wife, Susan Hazen-Hammond, are relocating to Iowa next month. There, Susan will be part of the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, a prestigious two-year program for writers.
Ken will be performing two numbers at the party: “The Godfather Waltz” with Karen and his “I Like to Lead When I Dance” foxtrot with Kristine.
Ken is a fun character and has been a venerable member of the Dance Station community. We will miss him. We are of course excited for Susan and offer our warmest congratulations!
Fortunately, Ken will be dancing in Iowa at a studio owned by one of our coaches, Ed Simon.
Be sure to make it at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9 to wish this wonderful couple all the best!
