Here are a few queries that Poppy deigned to extract from her mailbag this week. Dear Poppy,
I met a man dancing at a seniors dance two summers ago. He was so handsome and we danced the night away. Toward the end of the night he said, “If I want to see you again, will I have to keep coming to these dances?” Of course I said, ”yes.” I love dancing. I haven’t seen him at another dance since. Why are so many men intimidated by dancing? I should have given him my phone number. We could be dancing right now.
Missed Opportunity
Dear Missed Nothing,
You should never cry so long, honey, over spilled milk; furthermore, you would not be dancing right now. You would be home watching Dancing with the Stars. Yes, some men do not like to dance. If you love to dance, these are not your type of man. There are many men in this world who love to dance and realize that dancing can be romantic, sexy, and fun! Stop worrying about the one you missed and start looking for the one that’s out there waiting for you — on the dance floor.
Dear Poppy,
I spent the Night on the Town with Dance Station last Saturday. Wow, it was a fantastic evening filled with so much dancing and fun. We started at Bishop’s Lodge with salsa, then went down to the Eldorado Hotel for Country and swing, and ended up at the Mambo Room at the Lodge for more salsa. We had so much fun dancing! Why doesn’t the studio host similar events more often?
Oh, What A Night
Dear What A Night,
It’s always a great time with Dance Station! There are so many great people and we all share the love of dance. Darling, I’m sure there will always be more fun and lots of dancing going on at Dance Station. Don’t forget that there is a Practice Party every Thursday evening. See you there!
