Dear Poppy,
I am totally stressed out this time of year, and the state of the economy only adds to my stress. Can dancing help me, Poppy?
Stressed Out
Dear Stressed Out,
Stress can kill you! Dancing relieves stress! Dancing helps you to release stress accumulation in your body, reconnect with your true self, and build muscle tone and overall body strength. Learning to dance gives you an all-around healthier life.
Dear Poppy,
I love dancing with this certain dancer. When I look into her eyes while we are dancing I can’t help but smile. I have so much fun dancing with her even though she is not the best dancer. She makes me smile.
Smiling
Dear Smiling,
Darling, I believe that’s what dancing is all about. If we can find a smile when we are dancing, we have moved our souls. Smiling is the natural facial expression of joy. Dancing with a smile can be one of the purest examples of joy. Keep smiling, sweetie — it’s contagious!
