The sun in Pisces means the beginning of spring and the Spring Showcase is this Sunday, March 15, from 3 to 5 p.m. Now is the time to begin to plant new seeds in your dancing and, with Mercury in Pisces, to capture your dancing connections. Tom Hicks is having two workshops while he is visiting. One will be Showcase Skills at 7 p.m. Sunday and the other will be Latin Body Technique at 7 p.m. Monday.
It’s all about the Showcase this week. Remember that Venus is still retrograde in Aries so take care not to become fatigued. Mars moves into Pisces on Sunday, transitioning smoothly and evolving our dance experience. The timing works to the advantage of all the hard-working students involved in the Showcase.
Neptune in Aquarius gives us the opportunity to see our dance partnerships as a whole. Pluto in Capricorn also promotes our working together as well as individually toward the better good of the dance partnership.
Saturn in Virgo can make our dancing repetitive and boring. We should always try new dance adventures to improve our dance and expand our minds. So attend our Santa Fe Spring Showcase at 3 p.m. Sunday and check out all the different dances and become inspired by all the performing students and teachers.
